There are not many books that instantly grab me from the first paragraph, Mind Lies by Harlow Stone is such a book. Most books I read the first chapter and then get drawn in, Mind Lies literally fish hooked me a drug me along from the ride…..and what a fricken ride!!! Mind Lies has it all love, mystery, suspense, sexy ass Irish accents, and hot brooding men.
Can you imagine waking up not knowing who you are, who the people standing around your hospital bed are, why they are crying, or even worse why the hell you are in a hospital bed??? This is what Jerri wakes up to when she comes out of a coma. And all she can remember is a man who holds her like she is his everything, protects her, and makes her feel cherished. Is he a memory?? Or just a man she dreamed?? He feels so real, the dreams seem so real.
Jerri finally figures out that the girl next to her bed is her best friend, Portia. Portia would do anything to help her get her memory back, but she has no clue who the man Jerri talks about is. She has never meet Lock and Jerri has never mentioned him. Could he really just be a dream???

Harlow Stone is a kick ass suspenseful writer. She grabs you up and does not let you down. It has been a long time since I have read a book that made me want to jump to the end to confirm my suspicions. I was freaking out…praying that Jerri would find her Lock, and that he was everything she “remembered.”
Mind Lies is a mind riveting, heart aching, soul attaching book that you will not want to put down. It will stay with you long after you finish. It will be the book you talk about and remember for years to come.
